The long central part of a basilica, separated from the aisles flanking it on either side by rows of columns. It usually ends in the main apse (see basilica).

Hebrew for ‘soul’. A monument (sometimes a building but possibly just one stone) visibly marking the place of a tomb or grave and commemorating the person/s buried there.
